Mission: The children of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church will experience God’s love in the classroom; in the worship service; and through mission in their community, country and world.
How do we work our mission?
Our committee oversees the Sunday school program and nursery and we are the coordinating link between the children and the congregation. It is our responsibility to see that these programs are fulfilling our mission statement. It has been an honor to see God’s love working in so many ways in our youngest members. We are blessed to have Elizabeth Dornbos as our shepherd. With her guidance, mission continues to be the primary focus of our Sunday School program in 2016. They have sponsored a hanging basket sale every spring within the congregation. The monies generated from this fund-raiser have helped the Sunday school program support world and local community mission, as well as supporting STAMP within our congregation.
The nursery continues under the guidance of Sue Long who constructs weekly lessons that are implemented by the nursery attendants. It always includes a Bible-based lesson and art activity that is age appropriate for toddlers and pre-school.
